Democracy allows everybody to have their voice heard. In a democracy the people from a group or community choose who they want to represent them and put forward their views.
In Year 6 the children voted for a Head Boy and Girl. In the other year groups, the children voted for a Pupil Leadership Member to represent their voice in meetings with Mr Edmunds. The pupils that were chosen had to deliver a speech or presentation, explaining why they would be suitable for the role.
